Understanding what’s missing.
Travel has evolved beyond reaching a destination. Today's travelers seek experiences that feel personal, authentic, and shared. Whether exploring a new city or planning an international adventure, people increasingly value the opportunity to connect with others who share similar interests, travel styles, and values. At the same time, safety and trust have become defining factors— particularly for solo travelers and women. While booking platforms have become remarkably efficient, they continue to focus on logistics, leaving the human side of travel largely unexplored.
The insight“People weren't looking for another way to book a trip. They were looking for someone they could trust to share it with. That simple shift transformed the direction of the product. Instead of optimizing transactions, the opportunity was to design an experience that fostered confidence, compatibility, and meaningful connections before travelers ever packed their bags.”
